At 10:35pm a bomb went off in Manchester Arena, killing 22 people and injuring 59. 

It was an Ariana Grande concert, where 21,000 arianators were singing along to the American pop-stars hit singles. Just as the show ended an explosion went off in the foyer, causing panic and chaos, thousands of young girls ran for the exits.

As the day has passed on, new revelations have been made. The suspected suicide bomber has been named, Salman Abedi aged 22 who was born in Manchester. Three of the victims of the attack have also been named; Saffie Rose Roussos who was 8 years-old, Georgina Callander, 18, and John Atkinson, 28.

Amongst this devastating news springs astounding stories from the city of Manchester. Pubs, bars and hotels open their doors to provide refuge for the victims of the terrorist attack. Muslim cab drivers offer their services, free of charge, to those who needed a ride to safety, when trains were blocked. A woman who gathered 50 children and helped them get to the Premier Inn, where they would be safe.

In moments of terror the world always seems to reunite, with tweets from around the world surfacing, sending love and prayers to Manchester. Many tweets came from the music industry, in support of the pop-star.

Not to mention other actors and fellow celebs…
